My boss asked me to describe my family yesterday when we had two hours of drive time to Sac.
I started with mom, and how when I was growing up ... she was so fun. Board games and riddles and rhymes, musco nights ( where everything in the fridge must go.) Hobo night .. when all the dishes were dirty so we ate out of the pans...candied walnuts and the Bella Napoli.

My memories of being a child have a lot of my grandpa in them. Coming home yelling "Nanoots" spelled wrong I'm sure, but an Italian slang word for "goodies" Sometimes it would be candy, sometimes, mayonnaise. Sometimes an earring he found on the bus.
I had a happy childhood
I had a happy childhood also. I will have to post about it later, but NOT because I can't think of any!
I wanted to write that so mom didn't think I didn't have any happy childhood memories :)
