It is the date set for Valeries bridal shower, and Gina has graciously offered her house.... and she has a pool!

all are welcomed and mom is going to send out invites, but I wanted you to save the date now!

We can work on car pooling etc...also.. I need some good ideas for the theme...

Sarah...any help would be great..and yes... val knows..

I was thinking just a red and white theme... but she doesn't like hearts... but what about rubies? It is going to be a bbq meal, so what about picnic theme? It has red and white...and oriental trading has all sorts of fun picnic paraphenalia..

just thinking!

Isn't that Ernie's birthday?

Is it for the ladies only?

We should carpool, my van holds 7!

Picnic theme would be good... I will talk to Regina and ask her opinion...

all help is welcomed...

All are welcomed...if the boys do not want to stay , they can go to the movies or something once we get there.. but I think everyone should go...

wait til you see Regina's house! She has horses, chickens, kitties and doggies, even mice... not to mention a pizza garden!

It is worth the drive!

a pizza garden, that sounds right up my alley....
well what exactly is a pizza garden?

Mary said...

It is a circle garden cut into "slices" and each slice of garden will grow... tomato, basil, oregano, cheese, pepperoni and red peppers... all parts of a pizza!

I am looking forward to the pepperoni plant!

Sarah Michele said...

How do you grow pepperoni?!?

ok..went to write this on the calendar...and realized that were planning on taking brynn to montery for the weekend for her 5th bday (the 18th) so ill have to check with my cousin and steven to see if we can go the week before....

Mary said...

Going to monterey can be any weekend...

Valerie's shower...in my opinion.. is where the party will be..

and I expect all my peeps to be there....

Monica said...

true, montery can be any weekend, a 5th birthday however...i will see what we can do.

Valerie said...

Well now wait, I agree that a fifth b-day party is important. I also must object to your use of the word "peeps." :)

It is not too late to change the date. What is your schedule like tomorrow Mary? We should discuss. Mandy may also have a conflict, but I am not sure what to do about that.

Mary said...

I used peeps on purpose to piss everyone off.. and you are the only one who caught it..

I understand the date is moveable, but it is a perfect day..

Ernie really doesn't mind... and Brynn celebrates her birthday on different days every year due to having a big family...

but you let me know...

Sarah Michele said...

What do Peeps and kids have in common?

1 is great, but after 2 or 3, even the thought of another makes you queasy :)

Oh and they are both very sticky...

Mary said...

what do peeps and good have in common?

Nothing!

they are just a way to suck the life out of a small gimmick that grew too big for it's own good.

Peeps drool... candy eggs rule!

Monica said...

if the date is perfect please dont change it on my account, I would love to attend but i totally dont want everyones plans changed cause of us!
steven already has the time off and my cousin who were staying with cant do a different weekend that month. and honestly i would feel bad telling brynn she isnt going to the aquarium for her birthday since she chose that over disneyland.

Monica said...

what do peeps and greatness have in common?

EVERYTHING!

ha!
do peeps melt? NO they dont, do chocolate eggs...yes they do! proof peeps are better!
