Monday , Monday

It seems days of the week have lost their meaning. When I was younger monday meant the start of a new week and friday meant ... well, THE WEEKEND!

But that is no longer. I go to work on various days, I do not have children at home in school and my so called "weekend" is really just a couple days off in a row... if I can get them.

What happened to the weekend? I suppose because I picked a career that has no closed days, I can blame no one but myself.

I am not even sure I miss them, as I can relax on no certain day at no certain time. What is next.. Breakfast for dinner? MMMM... waffles!

Weekends, what are weekends, isn't everyday a weekend?
Wednesdays used to be my weekends, now I don't know what day it is unless I look at my phone or computer. A calender doesn't help, I don't know where I am on it.

My day off is always Monday, then sometimes Tuesday or some other random day. But rarely on a weekend. When everyone is bummed it is Monday I am happy, and when everyone is thrilled it is Friday, I am bummed. What can you do?

Just my point... days have become irrelevant...

The only things that have significant days are like...paydays are usually on a friday...

or weddings... does anyone get married on a monday?

Tightwad tuesdays at the movies... this is usually on a tuesday.. and prince spaghetti day...isn't that wednesday?
