OK... here it goes... tell me if I am going crazy...
I decided to go for one masters.... I call my Academic advisor and said.... " I decided to go for one Masters" and he said... Ok... I will email you the change in program.
OK...when I get it.. it says I won't be done until March 2010. I call him and say... that is what the date was when I wanted a double Masters... and he says.. Yes...
0(&(%*$(&.... apparently if I go for MHA/Ed the last four classes are:
- Teaching and learning strategies
- Role of the Healthcare/ Nursing educator
- Design and process of curriculum development
- Assessment and evaluation of learning.
If I go for a straight MHA, the last four classes are:
- Leadership
- Entrepreneurship in Health care
- Evaluation methodology
- Health Care Strategic management
BOTH CLASSES END IN MARCH 2010 BECAUSE IT REVOLVES AROUND CREDITS....I NEED 43 TOTAL CREDITS.... SON OF A BEYOTCH...
I am destined to go to school for one more year... and I am really pissed about it...
Ok.. I am done now... and will continue school with a happy heart knowing full well I chose this path. I will regain my YES attitude...
the only question is ....... what Masters?

hmm, the masters must be your choice, I kinda like the classes for just the MHA..but thats just me...either way I am in a simliar boat, I am loathing school right now, but I must stick it out for another year as well to get my degree...But in the end it will all be worth for you, no matter which way you go
so in the same amount of time you can get a double masters?

but I can't be in a bad mood about it because it will stop my learning attitude...
monica... it will be a split masters with two specialties.
what gets me is it is all about the credits..
I will have only four classes on education, yet they will give me a masters to my name for that specialty..
amazing.. it is putting in your time..
Well,the double masters gives you much more bang for your buck.

Hummm, I guess I would go for the double, nothing to loose that way, right?
that is what I decided mom..
I already have a BS in Health Admin.. so I figured lets mix it up a little and learn about some education...
