I really enjoy this time of year.. for the obvious reasons. Sonoma county summer is perfectly warm in the day and cool at night for comfort. There are farmers markets and organic food a plenty...
there is also a yearly event called the wednesday nite market. This started many years ago and at first was wonderful but then ended up being a "hangout" for young kids with territory they think they had to defend.... because watch out.. Jonny Garlics might try to take over your corner where the petting zoo is.
anyway... I stopped going for many years... but for the last couple of years I have gradually gone a few times and realized the kids have been dealt with and I once again love it...
Live music, stuff galore for the babies, crafts, food and a local farmers market.... I suggest everyone come and see it...

I just reminded Nate about this. I really want to check it in the coming weeks. It does get pricey though, every time I go I spend at least 40-50 bucks, especially if you are there at dinner time.
there is a great one on thursday evenings in windsor you should come check it out with us some time, they also have a movie in the park at dark for the kiddies! its a ton of fun!
